Cadbury Creme Egg
The Cadbury Creme Egg was introduced in the United Kingdom in 1963, featuring a chocolate shell filled with a white-and-yellow fondant center designed to resemble an egg yolk and white, and it became one of the most recognizable seasonal candies associated with Easter worldwide. Cadbury has long limited the Creme Egg's availability to roughly the January-through-Easter window each year, a deliberate scarcity strategy that helped build sustained annual anticipation and made the candy's brief seasonal window part of its core appeal to devoted fans. The candy's distinctive gooey fondant center, made using a proprietary manufacturing process, became the subject of a widely publicized 2015 recipe controversy when Cadbury's American licensee Hershey altered the shell recipe, prompting significant public backlash from fans convinced the candy had noticeably changed. The Cadbury Creme Egg's combination of its deliberately limited seasonal availability and its instantly recognizable fondant-filled format has made it one of the most iconic Easter candies in the world.

Lindt Gold Bunny
The Lindt Gold Bunny, a hollow milk chocolate rabbit wrapped in distinctive gold foil with a small red ribbon and bell around its neck, was introduced by the Swiss chocolatier Lindt & Sprüngli in 1952 and became one of the most recognized premium chocolate Easter products in the world. The bunny's consistent gold foil design and small neck bell became instantly recognizable branding that Lindt has maintained essentially unchanged for over seven decades, giving it an unusually stable visual identity compared to most seasonal candy packaging, which is redesigned more frequently. Lindt's positioning of the Gold Bunny as a premium, gift-worthy chocolate item, priced above typical mass-market Easter chocolate, reflected the broader Lindt brand's identity as a higher-end Swiss chocolate maker extending its premium positioning into the seasonal Easter candy category specifically. The Lindt Gold Bunny's combination of its seven-decade unchanged iconic gold foil design and its premium positioning within Easter chocolate has made it one of the most recognizable seasonal chocolate products in the world.
