Kane Waselenchuk
Kane Waselenchuk has won 128 career International Racquetball Tour titles and 15 year-end #1 rankings, both records, and holds a career win-loss record of 651-62 across 23 seasons — a 91.3 percent win rate sustained over more than two decades of competition. At the peak of his dominance he strung together a 134-match unbeaten streak that lasted over three years, and through the 2019 US Open he had won 118 of the 172 IRT tournaments he entered, a 68.6 percent tournament win rate that dwarfs every other player in the sport's history. His career title total puts the next-closest player, Cliff Swain, at 71 IRT wins — meaning Waselenchuk has won nearly twice as many tournaments as the second-most successful player ever, a gap that has only widened as his career has extended into his 40s. His combination of a 91.3 percent career win rate and a title total nearly double the next-best player's has made Waselenchuk almost universally regarded as the greatest racquetball player of all time.
VS
Paola Longoria
Paola Longoria has won six women's singles World Championships — in 2012, 2014, 2016, 2021, 2022, and 2024, most recently defeating Gabriela Martínez 11-5 in the San Antonio final — the most of any woman in the sport's history according to Guinness World Records. She also won four World Championship doubles titles partnered with Samantha Salas, in 2021 becoming the most decorated doubles pairing in the sport, and first won a Pan American Championship in 2006, the start of a run that made her the first Mexican woman ever to reach world number one. Longoria has now held that world number one ranking for well over a decade, sustaining her dominance across multiple generations of rising competitors from Mexico, the United States, and Latin America more broadly. Her combination of a record six singles World Championships and four doubles titles with Samantha Salas has made Longoria almost universally regarded as the greatest women's racquetball player in the sport's history.
